We’re partnering with the City of Edmonton Green Shacks to host Green Shack Shows – free arts performances for children at Green Shacks across the city, five days a week in July and August (weather and air quality dependent). Performers include a diverse array of local artists in magic, music, dance, theatre, and more.
You’ve got two shows in your area on August 6th! The first show in your area will be at Malcolm Tweddle Park, and the second will be at Michaels Park, at 11 am and 2:30pm respectively. The show will be Lakota Tootoosis’ show “Hoop Dancing.” The hoop dance is a formation storytelling dance; you will see formations like the butterfly, eagle, and the world to name a few. You can use your imagination to see a variety of images transform throughout this performance.
