Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for In school mentors!

The In School Mentoring program is open to adult and teen (age 16+) volunteers and takes place at select schools throughout Edmonton. Volunteers choose one of our partnered schools they would like to mentor in! Volunteers visit with their mentee, in their school, during school hours, and spend 1 hour a week doing homework, reading, playing games and talking.

Youth Rise

Youth Rise is a prevention-based youth organization based in Alberta focused on empowering youth from vulnerable communities to reach their full God-given potential.

They offer a variety of programs including drop-in centres, free sports, tutoring, job preparation, and spiritual enrichment. We are hyper local to neighbourhoods with high vulnerability factors for youth and establish presence in these communities to create engagement and transformation.

The Sport Council supports sport, active recreation and active living for all Edmontonians. Maintaining databases on their website -one of sport and active recreation organizations and another of sport and recreation facilities.

Northern Alberta Flag Football Association

The Northern Alberta Flag Football Association is designed to give the youth of Northern Alberta an opportunity to play organized Flag Football within their community. Michael’s Park is a participating game location.
